Fucsovics with blacked out Yonex.

He plays @ IW now with blacked out Yonex racket. Looks like his trusted E-Zone 98 mold. But any reason for blacking it out? Anybody knows?

Still using the stencil though. It almost looks like the starry night paint job without the decals. Don’t know if it’s truly sprayed over with black.

It's still the same Ezone. Jonas mentioned weeks ago that he's got a bit of Sinner in him and doesn't like the blast blue paint so he used the old 22 paint job all last year and it appears he's probably not big enough of a star for Yonex to give him new frames with the old paint.

It's his old Ezone DR98 with the black bumper guard and blue grommets at 6 o'clock. You can see the paint rub off at the 9 o'clock part of the head.

It's grown on me and the color on TV is the biggest win for Yonex as it's immediately identifiable as an EZONE whereas the last gen EZ was kind of dark and dingy in comparison. I just find it weird that a player could be handed two identically spec'd frames and feel they play better with one because of the paint color. Clearly it doesn't affect 99% of pros but the 1% must be really superstitious or something.
