In your opinion, is a choked-up 27" racquet held by a kid ( < 11) significantly more difficult to wield than a 26" junior raacquet?

IMO, if the racket's too long for his/her height (not age), it may (please note: MAY) interfere with proper stroke development as it would be too akward to make proper swings.

Of course age is the factor in the ability to hold a racket for sometime (muscle development). A full-size racket may be too heavy for the kid to swing even if the height permits.

But, considering the weight question, why is it that there are Jr. rackets made of wood?

I may be wrong. Just my oppinion.
