Full specs of IG Prestige/radical

First the circuit board look and now the chemistry look.

I prefer the simple solid colors Radical look.

I'm not sure of how I feel about the grommets.

New Radical PRO
98 head, 310 unstung. 16x19. The new CAP grommets are nice.

Andy Murray looks so tough on the racket insert.

How many years did it take to put CAP Grommets on the modern Radical 630 to make it look like Murray's PT57A?

I can understand Murray's signature up to the 'y'. What is that? It should be more rounded given the 'a' and the 'm'.

I'm loving the look of the new clear bumpers on the new IG line. Makes everything look super sleek Maybe there are too many traditionalists here, but I like it when companies are bold with their graphics and design.

Look at how well the clear CAPS blend into the frame of that Radical. Very nice touch IMO.

It's called LiquidMetal ;)

He's not looking for those. They were the worst. Best Radical's were the Original Radical Trisys 260 MP and the Radical Tour TwinTube 630. Also in the Prestige variety, the best is Prestige Pro/Classic 600, Pro Tour 630, i.Prestige MP, and that is it. Those are not hard to find.

The pro line radical prestige and speed all now have caps, whereas previously they had leather grips in common.

The new radical 18x20 does not have caps. So technically they are still not capping the original radical line. Only the 16x19 pro.

The current Radical 630 18x20 are a far cry from the original Radical's. The original Radical Trisys 260 and Radical Tour TwinTube 630 used the same mold as the Pro Tour 630.

I've only recently started using Head products and I do like the classic look of the Prestige with the black CAP grommets.

> al of you, most of the specs are exactly the same. go buy the black
> replacement grommets if it bothers you that much!

It's nicer if they are already there as you can just order them strung.

ok so i guess i should elaborate a little. took it out for extended hit today. let me just be up front here- go out and demo it when you get a chance. the feel is superb. smooth, soft, soft. amazing. and the other surprise: i had no trouble getting the racket around! for whatever reason the swingweight wasnt making me hit late. i either had a real good day, or the racket is turning me into federer. every shot, and i mean droppers to serves to slices to everything in between felt smooth as butter. it was like the perfect combination of control and feel. power is lacking but thats expected. the biggest loss of feel was on serves. the stability was amazing too. taking the ball early, felt nothing. two words: demo this!

Let me go on the record now saying I hate the clear CAP grommets.

The rep told me that in the future they will be releaseing different color caps so you can customize how your racket looks. Sort of like how prince did. I think he said they might have red caps.

About time I was ready to order London Tour as my next PT600 replacement, and I'm reading this... Now I have to wait for RDC flex numbers and SW to finally decide

hit with the prestige MP again tonight. 3.5 hours. a great frame. really good feel all around. very stable. and this is with full job of poly which i normally hate. might have to grab a couple! although the weight will probably slow me down a lot since i am not that good

Low or mid swingweight??? If it's low like the youtek you won't have aproblem, but I'd prefer mid sw.

you are really interested in these frames. i would say demo when they come out. for me it was mid swingweight.

Yes, I really like very few racquets, but the youtek version was excellent so I think I'd like to remain in the prestige line to simplify my life somewhat.

I have the mg radical pro

Recently tried the MG Rad Pro.. was pretty good.. lots of spin. Head size feels immense.. im more used to mids though. Seemed a little unstable on off centre shots however. Curious to see what this new one is like

I added 1-2 grams of lead at 10 and 2 because I found the upper hoop a little dead on the mg, but found the stability all right, but the new one is very different and more interesting.

There are/were pics of all these. As long as you can cope with clear caps, they're all quite beautiful although they've use pseudo-scientific graphics to indicate presumably the 'hi-tech' nature of ig.
