FXP radical tour and MG radical pro

Right now I have both and I regularly use the FXP rad.
The MG rad seems to be to light and I just cant really play with it.
I know that the MG rad is a good racquet,
but I dont think it really plowthroughs the ball.
I also think that the FXP has a better feel. kinda flexy.

Is there anyone else that prefers the FXP to the MG?
and is it possible to add lead to make the MG more like the FXP?
How has everyone set up their MG rad pro?

Put a leather grip at the MG rad pro. I recommend Babolat Leather grip. TW leather also seems to be fine. See how this plays to you. If it is too headlight put some lead at 3 and 9 (about 3 gr each).

I think I'd give it a try.

The only thing Im afraid of is the weight of the leather grip.
To people who use the leather grip,
how heavy is it and by how much does it change the balance?

I've been playing with the MG Rad Pro and thought it felt a bit light. The leather grip firms adds about .2 oz and makes the grip feel close to a size bigger IMO. If you don't add leather put lead at the top of the grip on the handle. It TOTALLY changes the feel of it. I put lead at 10 & 2. It weighs 12.3 oz.

On my other MG Rad Pro, I put lead under the Hydro-sorb grip at the top and epoxyed 2g of lead in the buttcap. I like this one better. Weird because I don't have any lead in the head.

I was close to regretting buying it but the lead made me love it. Also try the Head UltraTour string in it. For some reason this string plays well in Head frames.

Babolat Leather grip doesn't increase your grip size.
