G360+ prestige mid vs g360+ radical pro

Hello all,

Can anyone who has played both of these rackets give me an idea of how they differ?

I’m currently playing the mid, but looking for something with a similar feel at contact, similar launch angle etc but a bit more forgiveness in the sweetspot especially on my backhand side where my timing isn’t so good.

Tried a weighted Tfight 300rs but find the feeling a bit vague and maybe a bit launchy due to the more open string pattern.

Any insight would be appreciated.

thanks!

No one’s tried both of these?

I guess another way of putting it would be - which racket is similar to Tfight 300rs but with a tighter string pattern and maybe slightly lower RA?

Thanks.

Try the TF40 18x20. It is a great racket with real nice feel, If you like the soft feeling rackets, this TF40 18x20 is hard to beat.

I also like the G360+ Radical Pro. It is also a great stick with firmer feel. I also played with the G3*0+ Mid, which is also a nice stick with slightly firm feel. To me, the control, power and spin was pretty similar in all aspects, but the G360+ Radical Pro was a lot more forgiving in match play situations.

All those 3 racquets are pretty different...

Thanks for the reply,
would you say the rad pro swings as easy as the mid? I’m just after something with similar response but more forgiving/lighter.

Yeah the 300rs definitely feels like a bit of a departure from the mid, even weighted up a bit.

I’m trying to go more forgiving/lighter whilst keeping a similar feel spin, launch and power wise.
Any suggestions?

Will give the tf40 a try if I can

This is a comparison I'd like to know about too. I have the 360+ Mid, and on paper it's very similar to Radical Pro, the Pro should just have a bigger sweet spot and theoretically might feel stiffer due to the higher vibration frequency.
I might by a Pro on sale and compare.

The only thing giving me pause is the higher Swingweight…

I never really liked a Radical Pro before, but the 360+ version is a real predictable march-play stick that, to me, was a lot easier to use in a match than the 350+ Prestige Mid. They both have somewhat of firmer feel I guess due to their higher RA.

I found Radical Pro to be really maneuverable and stable at impact. I don’t think there was a noticeable sluggishness compared to the Prestige Mid. Great match stick for sure. To me it was a lot easier & more confidence inducing to use the Radical Pro than the Prestige Mid in tight situations.

Thanks very much. Sounds good to me. Think I’ll give it a try then.
