G360+ Radical 2021

Better feel than you'd expect from the 65 RA? (RA these days probably becoming a less useful indicator since manufacturers appear to have become more nuanced with respect the layup throughout the hoop and throat areas with variances in flex and weight distribution).
I am not sure what the RA is but definitely feels nice. I’ll try to measure it over the weekend

From the Tennisnerd review, the Radical Pro should be softer... therefore, there is hope for a very good iteration. Fingers crossed.
61-62RA for modern flexible 95-98" inch frame would be fine. Softer frames would need or much more weight or wider beam which isn't perfect option for everyone.
Just thinking if I should even string my Graphene Touch Radical MP to try out. Anyone liked that mold in any incarnation?

Played with the Graphene Touch Radical MP for some time but slowly moved away. Initially, I enjoyed the flexible RA but over time, found it to be too muted for my taste. The racquet also exceled at redirecting power from an opponent. However, I found that when I wasn't facing a hard hitter, I had to consistently generate my own power through head speed. I've since moved away to racquets that offer slightly more power.

What racquet are you playing with now?

My favorite racquet ever is the LM Radical MP. In fact, I still have 2 that I won't sell because I'm often tempted to just give up on trying new models (latest incursion is a 3rd gen Babolat PS 16x19) and go back to them. Only problem is I have this bad habit of getting older, so a bit more power wouldn't hurt. Shame on Head that they went so off course from what the Radical was originally designed to be. With each new iteration, I keep hoping they just go back to basics.

I just switched from a Liquid Metal Radical here are the racquets I really liked. If I had to guess for you I would lean towards the Gravity Pro or Speed MP.

Head Gravity Pro(what I switched to)
Head Extreme Tour
Speed Pro MP (feel is a little off but it just plays so well)
Prince Beast line Textreme Tours.

Basically last few gens until 360+ felt a little off...

I actually wanted to try the Gravity Pro, but couldn't find one. I may have jumped the gun with the Babolat, but I don't dislike it so far (bit like your comment on the Speed MP, feel is not quite there, but I find it plays well). Don't think I've ever played with Prince, which is why I constantly neglect looking in that direction.

I agree with your last point. I feel it kept moving further away from a player's racquet with each iteration.

I enjoy the 2021 Pure Drive. Just like other racquets more:) I ended up picking up a Gravity Pro and a Beast 98. I expect to get a Speed MP, Extreme Tour or Gravity MP.

How they all get this Radical prototype?
Can I just call Head and ask them if they could ship in to me, although I have no my own youtube channel :) .
I just LOVE its "all silver" PJ.

Store owners, coaches/clubs, reviewers — people that sell the rackets.
“teaser” is exactly that, get the advanced marketing going before the actual release. This has proven across many industries (including semiconductors that I am in) as a huge boost to the initial sales...

It is painful to listen to this guy.
Did not even realize that the mold, layup, weight distribution...pretty much everything is different between 360 and 360+
In fairness, he actually does talk about the change in layup and measures specs (weight, balance, swingweight) on the prototype and compares them directly to measurements from the previous model. That’s more than a lot of reviewers do.

Exactly, it's not my favorite chanel but I appreciate that he measures racquets (sometimes even several to check QC) and compares against similar or past iterations of racquets. I can just take that info and make my own conclusions.

He measures it on every racket he posts.
However, he kept repeating that he expected no changes from the previous model..
The whole “teasing” part is annoying...

Anyone with reasonable tennis knowledge will find a lot of what he posts pretty cringeworthy - like his video on matching an RF97 to Fed’s racquet where he doesn’t even measure the specs before laying on the lead tape! And to think someone on the Blade Pro thread sent him a pair of racquets to be matched up!!

However, he is a reasonable resource for racquet specs since he’s got a swingweight machine and he does take the time to measure various sticks. Thank goodness for digital media and the YouTube video progress bar. Just skip the cringey bits and take what one needs.

PS: Got to give him credit for not using his channel to shill his wares and store. Much as I find the Nerd’s channel informative, I can’t bear his website that has more adverts than the rag strip on a British tabloid webpage.

Played with MP yesterday for ~2 hours during my training. Nice, looking forward to check Pro. See more below.

Some history. 44 years old, around 4.5-5.0 level. Mostly baseliner, but don't afraid to come to net to finish points. I'm playing with Babolat PS 2nd gen 16*19 at the moment. But because of TE I'm in search for something new. I've tried Gravity Tour/Pro, Speed Pro, Prestige MP, Radical Pro (Graphene 360) during last summer. Prestige was by feeling the best, but I just can't get enough spin as I've used to with PS. Radical was nice, but almost same stiff as PS. Gravity was longer on tests, but at the end I've realized that I can't get enough racquet speed from it. Flat shots or blocking are perfect. Plow from baseline on already fast incoming balls, I can't get better. But anything where I have to bring my own speed/spin is just not working. Even that nice feel&touch with it. Decided to check new Radicals because 360+ should be less stiff then current line.

So, yesterday, I've got my hands on new Radical MP (clear prototype) to play with for ~2 hours. Actually it was nice. Clear, different strings/tension (I'm playing with HyperG 1.25 ~23-24kg on PS). But I was able to control shots and make pace. Even for MP, it was stable enough. Probably it would be better for Pro. By feeling it's fast but predictable racquet. It was no problem for me to generate enough spin and it doesn't require for me to change game style switching to/from PS to it. I can say PS and new Radical are on par, while Radical is not that stiff.

Why are they waiting till January to release... ugh! I know... Aussie Open, but geesh... that's still a good 60+ days away. I just want to hit with the Radical Pro and see what it's like. I was a big fan until my arm couldn't take it any more. I last played with the several versions , the last being the XT version, which I liked a lot (even if many didn't), but my arm gave out after a few years with it and said no more. If I was still young... I'd still be playing with it. Hated the spiderman (touch) version. Haven't tried the current 360 Pro version even though I hear it's better, because I'm worried about my arm sensitivity. Hoping the 360+ treatment makes it arm friendly enough. Just like the power/spin/feel version of the XT... but in an arm friendlier package. Sounds like the Pro has a higher swing weight again and if it's 310g unstrung, 7pts HL (strung) or more... I'm very interested. Seems to be my current sweet spot.

hit with the pro today, felt a little weird to be honest, perhaps I need some more time with it, but definitely thought the ezone tour and pro staff v13 were a bit better. I have feeling though that the prototype i was using was a bit under spec the swing weight felt low. For some reason the MP felt more stable when I hit with it last week.
