i would if gamma offered good strings at competitive prices. but if they did that, their margins would be lower and they probably wouldn't be able to offer the frequent stringer points program.Hi guys I know lots of you are home stringers and I was wondering if lots of you used the gamma frequent stringer points?
The first time I sent them in I sent the whole thing but I talked to them later and they said it was ok to just send in the corner with the point value on it.A few years ago, my wholesaler always had good deals on Gamma string. I got a few small items through the program. They treat the free order just like a paid one and ship the items right out.
Be aware, for very small orders the shipping cost for the empty packages can be several dollars. You can't just send in the corner of the packs, you must send the whole package. If your sting packs are from low end sting, such as synthetic gut, you will have a small box full of empty packs to get an inexpensive item. Still a good deal though, as they pay the shipping cost for your order.
Cut them out when you string. Use old coffee containers with slots cut in the lids (one for 10s and one for 3s, 6s, & 12s.) When you cut out the points drop them in the appropriate container. If you use reels drop them in either container.I traded in my points 5 years ago for a new stringer. It was a pain cutting the points out, an sorting them to send, but in the long run it was worth it!
