Gamma Hi-Tech Gel Contour Grip?

I am looking for a shock reducing, thick & heavy grip and this one seems like the ticket. I am just concerned that I might not like the "contours"? Anyone have any experience with these grips? Also, it it weird at first going from a "flat" grip to a "contoured one?

I like a contoured grip when using smaller racquet grip size. Helps me hold on.

Consider the regular Gamma Hi-Tech, non-contoured, if you like the material but aren't sure about a contoured grip. It's made of the same heavy material but lays flat on the pallet.

Sounds good. Unfortunately I found the contour at my local store, but not the non contour!

Will the gamma non contour model also add a few extra grams of weight to the handle that I might want to balance out with lead in the hoop somewhere? I hear these grips were REALLY heavy.
