Gamma X-ELS button

Hall of Fame
The local uni has 3 Gamma stringing machines: older lock out crank, new Progression II ELS and an older X-ELS. On the older X-ELS you have to hit the button multiple times to get the gripper to function. Can one get a new button/switch and replace it yourself?

You should ask @Gamma Tech. The answer is probably yes if you can get the cover off. Other option is to use a vacuum cleaner's probe attachment. There may be dirt stuck underneath the switch. Try vacuuming the area right over the switch/button. I do this over computer keyboards to keep them operating smoothly.
