James Blake is one of the players I find so easy to cheer for, but so hard to watch. When he is on fire, like he is now makes for great TV. He just rips those winners, blasting shots right on the line. But when he loses steam he continues to smack at the ball to no avail, and you wonder why he won't just settle down and THINK!

I like Gasquet a lot too, mostly for his beautiful backhand. If he wins that works for me, because I always like his matches with Nadal.

But I;m cheering for Blake to hopefully keep the ball in the court long enough to take the match.

since when does blake need to be resurrected, he just recently reached the quarters in australia better than gasquet, despite all the crap some people give him here, he's been a consistent performer eversince he came back at the Us open a couple years ago

The young guns have raised the bar and now the more experienced players are finding a second wind it seems. Haas, Blake and Hewitt amongst the mix again would be great for tennis.

yeah that makes sense. it seems that federer's recent assessments on a few young players's game was pretty accurate. they have the talents but not quite yet there except nadal and djokovic...
