Agreed. A nice "training tool" type paddle for me, definitely not good enough to hit that small sweetspot consistently...just wanted to share my experience.

I hope I get to hit with it … very curious. I think I am now good to go now with Flash 14mm … my hand speed and covers have improved. I also like the feel after weighting it up.

I got to hit the PPE briefly … a few balls from baseline and a few volleys at the kitchen. The paddle had been broken in for three weeks with a fair amount of play. To me the power from baseline wasn’t noticeably different than my V7, volleys felt pretty poppy/launchy, unusual hollow muted feel/sound. I actually had hoped for more given the hype … this tennis player will be very happy when paddles get closer to being racquets. Still stuck with paddles.

What have you noticed with your PPE? There have been quite a few players at my local courts that have switched to the PPE and I haven't heard of any quality complaints.

It was one player - he felt his did not have the same feel and pop as his various other friends' paddles.
