G.O.A.T.
It is a prediction that one of those guys will win a Slam sooner than Rune - partly because they are more experienced and have been on big stages already.
Since when has that determined first-slam-title success?

"German fans like their heroes to be truculent but effective: we go for nicely brought-up bores"This article about Tim Henman makes me LOL:
"Come on, Tim." Is there any more depressing sound to be heard in June and July in England? The voice is invariably well-bred and slightly tentative, as if its owner knows that one really should not shout in public unless one happens to be playing a game of beach cricket with the family on the sands of Cromer. It contains a note of uncertainty, the desperate, unmistakeable timbre of anticipated defeat.
The sound of the crowd at Wimbledon has none of the bullying swagger of a decent football chant or the reedy enthusiasm of schoolchildren cheering on athletes at Crystal Palace. Here it is individual, ill-timed and despairing.
Why Tim Henman is a stupid role model

Sometimes you love despite and not because. BeatlesFan was Rune’s biggest critic."German fans like their heroes to be truculent but effective: we go for nicely brought-up bores"
I'm from Germany, and I would have thought the exact opposite. When I was a kid everyone in my family and literally any adult I knew always hated any sportsperson with a "bad boy" image and begged me to never have someone like that as an idol.
On topic here with Rune:
I was very surprised when BeatlesFan started expressing her love for Rune. I mean, she called so many young players "spoiled brat" or predicted them to never win a Slam, being a choker and a waste of talent and so on, and then she loves the one who looks like the EPITOME of all that.
I would have fully expected to find him in her Zverev/Tsitsipas category of dislike.

Let’s hope TTW lets her back in.

I have a pretty good idea.. At the time I didn’t think anything of it, but I read she posted a link and somebody got malware on the pc - a reinstall fixed it. I don’t think she had any malicious intention and I saw she apologized. She got banned? You know fir what?

She was something special. I remember a thread where she posted some questions from an Intelligence test and basically told the people in the thread were too stupid to solve it, but she said it in a way that was so indirect, that people didn’t respons to it. I laughed so hard.
I know not all here feel the same way, but I liked her a lot.
Genius Henman is wrong, but I wonder how long it will take until he's proven wrong.
Is she really banned. Because her profile says Bionic poster and not Banned.I have a pretty good idea.. Who knew Tim was so brilliant?!
Tim Henman expects Holger Rune to be next maiden Grand Slam winner
Tim Henman believes Holger Rune will be the next maiden Grand Slam winner on the ATP Tour.
Henman thinks Rune will follow Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner in overtaking other top stars to claim a major title very soon.
Henman said: "Holger Rune is going to be knocking on the door pretty soon. There are still areas that he needs to improve on, but there's plenty of good stories on the mens side. Zverev, Tsitsipas, and Rublev have won big tournaments now, but I wonder whether Holger Rune will overtake them."
"The next man to win a maiden Slam, I think will be Holger Rune at some stage. His athletic ability, his ball striking off both wings, and I like his confidence and his belief.
I think he can perhaps rub people up the wrong way at times, but I think that's because he's got that desire to make it happen."
"He'll definitely be one I'll be looking out for. If it doesn't happen in 2024, then I think there's every chance it could happen in 2025."

WHAAAATTTT !!!!????I still remember when McEnroe predicted Donald Young to win a CYGS.
I really enjoyed BeatlesFan's shameless partisanship. No question about where she stood..She was one of our best posters. I hope she will be allowed to come back!
Pretty much this.Tim hasn't been proven wrong yet. Just sayin'.
