Genius Tim Henman predicts the next player to win his 1st slam

I just hope Rune doesn't end up being what Murray was to Big 3, to Sinner and Alcaraz. Murray was almost as good but achieved way less. Rune is still only 20, and I think he should start winning slams from next year or the year after, otherwise he could end up like Murray to Sinner & Alcaraz.

I'm from Germany, and I would have thought the exact opposite. When I was a kid everyone in my family and literally any adult I knew always hated any sportsperson with a "bad boy" image and begged me to never have someone like that as an idol.

On topic here with Rune:

I was very surprised when BeatlesFan started expressing her love for Rune. I mean, she called so many young players "spoiled brat" or predicted them to never win a Slam, being a choker and a waste of talent and so on, and then she loves the one who looks like the EPITOME of all that.

I would have fully expected to find him in her Zverev/Tsitsipas category of dislike.

Sometimes you love despite and not because. BeatlesFan was Rune’s biggest critic.
Let’s hope TTW lets her back in.
 
Tiger Tim lol. Pros are just people, they make wrong predictions all the time. I still remember when McEnroe predicted Donald Young to win a CYGS.

Never saw that potential in Rune to be honest. Just doesn't strike me as the guy who has the game or attitude to reach #1 and win slams. But hey, he's still young, he might prove me wrong (good for him if he does).
 
Henman is predicting Zverev to win the US Open, so he's changed his mind on his prediction of the next first time major winner.

I have a pretty good idea.. At the time I didn’t think anything of it, but I read she posted a link and somebody got malware on the pc - a reinstall fixed it. I don’t think she had any malicious intention and I saw she apologized.

She was something special. I remember a thread where she posted some questions from an Intelligence test and basically told the people in the thread were too stupid to solve it, but she said it in a way that was so indirect, that people didn’t respons to it. I laughed so hard.

I know not all here feel the same way, but I liked her a lot.

Henman's prediction still stands, though Rune has since lost to Zverev, Djokovic, Nakashima, Sinner, Musetti, and Jarry at the slams.

But he's only 22 and seems to be trying to find the right team to take him further. And there's such a gap after Sinneraz that the next maiden slam winner is a tossup.
 
Well I think we all knew Henman was not a genius.
Alcaraz is a genius, Federer and Nadal are genius.
The word of Tim Henman is not something I care for...

One slam left in 2025 for Rune to step up and win the title, otherwise Tim Henman best leave predictions to ttw.
