Cropping helps a little
You guys can call me SHOW. Everyone can.
Apparently, It won't work. I tried to crop it and such, still here. Guess I gotta find a new one D:
Right click over the pic in the post, choose "Copy Image Location", paste it into Option 1 in the edit avatar section.yeah but have do i get the pic from the post in to my avatar?
it does not work. i right clicked over the pic, pressed the copy button and tried to paste into the option1. But it wouldnt paste :-(
what should i do????
Make sure you are using "Copy image location", not just copy.
Another way to do it, right click over the image, press "view image". The image should come up with the address in your location bar at top. Copy that into option1.
Bolivian Ace, if your image is small enough, you can pull it directly off your computer using option2. (under User CP, then Edit Avatar) If you need someone to edit it first you will have to join one of the free image hosting services.
Thank you very much, yes I need some help editing it. Which image hosting service do you recomend?
that does not work either. my computer wont allow that :-(
Click on my username and email it to me, I'll give it a shot.
Here is the picture (if it works...)![]()

Try this, it might still be a little tall.
gif has a transparent background feature, or you could just paint the background e1e4f2.
How do you enable the transparent background feature?
Remove the background. There are a variety of methods, depending on the software you use. (read the docs) Here are some ideas:
- declaring a transparent color and paint the background with that color
- cutting out the foreground material and pasting it onto a background with nothing defined on it
- cutting out the foreground material, pasting it into a new layer, erasing everything on the original background layer
