Get ready for Rafa

You must be a great at multi-tasking to be able to hold a conversation with yourself. How many accounts does this make for you now Bullzilla?

well if it is another account of Bullzilla atleast its a nicer one that our usual NSK's and RAFA2005RG's and 6-16-36-0's and VamosPunch's

True. Honestly, I don't really know what to make of Ms. Nadal. She sometimes makes me think she's another Bullzilla account but then sometimes she doesn't. I just know she's a double account of someone on here that much is obvious.

Ms. Nadal the mastermind Manipulator

Nah, I think that if Ms. Nadal is the double account of someone, is of some Fed fan, not Bulzilla's.

There are too many links to find about this since he has said Nadal was coming back at least 3 times that I can remember,so I don't recall where they all came from. Maybe a google search would find it for you.

ETA: Here's one from the beginning of October saying he will start practice again in 10 days.

http://www.inselradio.com/2012/10/1...aussichtlich-erst-2013-wieder-tennis-spielen/

Here's a quote from David Nadal's Twitter where Toni says Nadal will be back in a week. It's from Late September.

"Toni Nadal asegura a @esportsib3tv que Rafa volverá a los entrenamientos en poco más de una semana"

Here's the Twitter link, but you'll have to go back a bit to find it.

https://twitter.com/davidjnadal

Those are just a few of the times it has been predicited Nadal will be back practicing. They're liars, and I don't believe a thing they say. Until there are actual pictures and video of Nadal practicing on court with a racket in his hand,I call bs.

And for good measure, here's another one.

http://www.mallorcaesports.es/tenis/item/3511-toni-nadal-dentro-de-10-o-15-d

And here'a video straight from the horse's mouth.

Still doubt Toni said any of this stuff?

Lol, I guess he probably said it, but two things:

One of the links is in German. I don't speak much German, but I'm pretty sure it says he will play again in early 2013.
Another link is mainly in Mallorquin.

It does seem he said they expected Nadal to go back to training in 10 to 15 days (which would have been like a month ago?) "if everything goes well" (maybe it didn't?), but are we sure that by "training" they mean on a tennis court?, because Rafa himself has used the word "training" several times to refer to gym work.

BTW, in the video it's funny the reaction he gets when he says Cristiano Ronaldo's problem is to not have accepted Messi is quite a bit better. A laud murmur and laughs. Not a very Real Madrid friendly place it seems :).

I am a Rafa fan! And bigger than all of you on here! Stop saying all this trash about me! Gee! Why all this insistence of me being someone else? I will never know. I am just a Rafa fan! Time for this palava to stop man. Give me a break. Rafa is my favourite, don't care about the others. I can't say anymore, stop posting it. All you people are Fed fans, not me! Gosh! This stops here now! So all of you non believers think it but stop posting it! Don't discuss me cos I never discuss you! It's a tennis forum not an imposter shoot shop!

He was in Germany promoting something(I don't know what)which is where they did an interview with him. He did say 10-15 days he would be back on court, just as he has said it multiple times.

Laugh all you like. You are the Rafa hater in here! You are Bulzilla or whoever you people talk about! I am so green in here that I do not know who these members are, never seen their posts. I am really these people then, aren't I?!

I just adore Rafa and you people can't see that. I have been really upset with him being gone and I so want him to comeback! Tennis is boring without him. Anyway, I better stop being emotional as someone said that of me too.

You are not emotional Ms Nadal. I can't say the same for Clarky though :)

Clarky would be "emotional"... if depression were the only emotion :)

You are a sensitive soul aren't you?

And I could end every sentence in !!!!! but that's not the way I roll if that's what you mean by showing emotion. You'd probably then say I am overly emotional. You cannot be pleased, dude.

All I know is that I'll be pumped to see Rafa back on the court; any which way you slice it, the ATP World Tour is not the same without him. I don't care if he loses in the first round of Oz, I just want to see if he's willing to compete and give it 100% effort.

Nadal is gonna suck when he returns. I hope Federer is lucky enough to face him a few times during Nadal's post-Rosol slump.

I am getting ready.

I will be making a full renovation of my appartment, so a lot of walls must be painted. It will be very interesting, indeed.

:(

Rafa returning to tennis is great for the sport. Unfortunately during his absence, Andy Murray has risen to new heights and is now going to be a deadly foe alongside Djokovic, standing in Rafa's way. Basically Rafa is going to have to go through BOTH these guys to win anything. Not sure I can see anymore AOs or USOs for Nadal with these young hardcourt monsters standing in his way. Wimbledon is going to be risky for him. Basically RG is his only remaining crown that he's a favourite to win.
He's not going to win anymore non-clay Masters titles. I see the Fedal era is nearing the end in terms of domination. I also see Del Potro being the 3rd man alongside Murray and Djokovic who is going to be a roadblock for both Nadal and Federer.

Murray hasn't played any better in 2012.

In 2011, Murray lost to Nadal in 4 sets at Wimbledon. In 2012, Murray lost to Federer in 4 sets at Wimbledon. No difference.

In 2011, Murray lost to Nadal in 4 sets at US Open. In 2012, Murray beat Djokovic in 5 sets at the US Open, but anyone who saw that match will tell you Djokovic DID NOT PLAY WELL, and was a shadow of his 2011 US Open form.

And you actually think Murray played well in the US Open 2011 against Nadal? Murray was a victim of poor scheduling, coming into the match exhausted after playing John Isner in a tough match less than 24 hours prior. Murray also blew Federer off the court at the Olympics on grass in the final.
Also the last time Murray and Nadal played, Nadal only managed to win 4 points in the 3rd set.

you can post what you like! as long as it isnt offensive and doesnt break forum rules

So everybody says Nadal is useless after the US Open each year but when Murray mauls him in Tokyo its supposed to mean something? Seriously?

Murray's best ever performance vs Nadal was 2010 Australian Open 6-3, 7-6(2), 3-0 RET and 2008 US Open 6-2, 7-6(5), 4-6, 6-4.

Murray was great at the Olympics, but Federer had just beaten Del Potro 17-15 in the semi.

Yes Djoko and Murray and Federer are doing well BUT Nadal has been resting while the others are using their weary body everyday to attain these heights - it all comes round in the end to endurance

The best way to save your body at the Australian Open is to not drop a set, or drop as few sets as possible. That is why Nadal must give 100%. If he plays defensive, the points and the matches will be longer. 2010 US Open, is the prototype of how you save your body.

Good point. I think the last Aust open was his undoing and it didn't do any good for Djoko either

I agree, cos Nadal took Feb off and still complained of pain at Indian Wells and then withdrew before Miami semis, and he said he shouldn't have played Miami. So whatever happened at the Australian Open was the cause. And I think Djokovic looked jaded by Wimbledon.

I actually enjoy Nadal's vacation too. First of all, nobody is spanking Federer's wrinkly azz in Nadal's absence, and secondly, it opens up the draws a little bit (I've grown tired of this "big 4" thing).

So you've grown tired of Fed then right? I'm sure you would just love it Fed fell out of the top 4 since you're so tired of it.

To me it really makes no difference if Federer is #2 or #5. Only #1 has any symbolic significance.

I am tired not of the top 4 themselves, but of the fact that nobody else can break through and shine. I am enjoying the fact that we get to see more of Ferrer, more of Del Potro, etc. because without Nadal we are guaranteed to see someone new in semi-finals. Which is thrilling and refreshing.

LOL.

Strange picture. Who sets up their living room to where if they want to watch tv they have to contort their head and neck to see? The couch is vertical to the tv. Nadal is so weird. Lol.

Doesn't he still live with his parents? They probably set up the set-up. ;) His pose is funny though, like he's in church.

:) Clarky, I have to say that I am a big fan of yours. I don't care what everyone says, you have a sense of humor about the guys which is refreshing. Even if you hate my favorite.
