How long would it take to get beast and arms that you can see. I don't mean like super ripped but kind of like nadal except quite abit smaller but still visible.

Do you mean by stopping tennis and directing all your efforts at body building?

Or do you mean continuing to juggle playing, working on your cardiovasular conditioning, agility and strength all at the same time?

Dam if Nadal is beast the concept of being a beast has gone way down lately. I think of guys that do worlds strongest man and top powerlifters as beasts. Nadal is an athlete not a beast.

the thread is so bad but the OP is a kid so ill give him some advice that he probably will not take.

Build a workout based on 3 days a week. 1 day do bench (incline and flat), plus some triceps (extensions, pushdowns). 1 day do deadlifts, chinups and curls, 1 day do squats, extensions and pullups.

This is a basic workout..there are a million ways to do it. the main thing is you want to deadlift, squat and bench.

Also so true so many people look at pics in muscle mags and old Arnold pics wishing they could look like that but dont put in the work those guys do.

Nadal is a beast. These people have too much muscle it's a turn off.

So basically what, bench press and curls until you get the arms and shoulders you want, i just want my arms to be visible not extra massively big.

Nadal is not a beast. He is big for a tennis player but is relatively average in the world of athletes and weight lifting.

and are you female because I dont get the turn off comment otherwise.

Being super strong =/= beast.

Having the balance of speed and strength = beast.

And if your muscles are massive like those weight lifters you'll crush your lady, and it looks ugly.

If you are a gym member already then check to see if they have any specials with the Personal Trainers. I bought 3 hour sessions with a PT and told them I wanted tennis sport specific exercises.
I had already been working for years but wanted to get serious.
In general you will end up doing total body workouts throughout the week by splitting up (Chest, bi-ceps, tri-ceps, shoulders, core (abs, lower back), middle and upper back, lats, all parts of the legs including hip flexors.

You are looking for strength while maintaining a sports related fast twitch, slow twitch muscle balance. The medicine ball is good for upper body fast twitch muscle development.

Then you will get to enjoy doing sprints, foot work drills, from cross over steps to running backwards while mimicking hitting an overhead.

The payoff is that you should move up .5 to 1 full NTRP within the next 6 months depending on what kinda shape you are currently in.
