Glenda Jackson, in my opinion (and in that of many others') the greatest actor the UK has ever produced has passed away at the age of 87. Her fabulous performances are just too numerous to mention. She gave up acting to become a Labour MP from 1992-2015 and then resumed acting. Her last appearance was in a film with Michael Caine released just a year ago.
