Federer:
AO 2010 against Murray. Murray not playing bad, but federer just on another level

Djokovic:
AO 2019 against Nadal. His groundstrokes and return games were devastating.
**

Nadal:
RG 2008 against Federer. It was so brutal, unexplainable in words.
**

**felt so bad while watching them live, that i stopped watching.
(only listed these matches as I watched them live, not the highlights)

Nadal (AO2019) and Federer (RG2008) in their respective showings looked like they had mentally checked out early in those matches. It almost seemed like they had very little confidence before even taking the court. Everyone knows they both were capable of playing far better.

which only means peak Fed did better against better Novak on HC than Nadal against worse Novak
2011 Federer was 3 years younger than 2019 Nadal, so he was nearer to his prime. Plus, 2008 Novak was worse than in 2019 and still straight setted Federer.

No matter how you look at it: losing TWO matches in straight sets against Djokovic at the AO is obviously worse than losing ONE match in straight sets against Djokovic at the AO.

2008 Djokovic was better than 2019 Djokovic on hard, and imo even clay. Only on grass (basically Wimbledon) was he better in 2019.

Stopped reading right there. Jesus Fed mode never happened in 2010 and no Fed fan would ever pick this match, which is mediocre in JesusFed mode. Try this one because he played at this insane level almost every single match from 2003-2007:

I think Federer himself said that this was the best match he has ever played.

On topic:
Nadal: Roland Garros 2008/2017 or Monte Carlo 2010
Djokovic: Australian open 2019/Doha 2016
Federer: Us Open 2004

His peak matches aren’t exclusively limited to 2003-2007. He peaked a few times outside of that period.
After 2007, having turned 26, he became old for Tennis and could not produce the same level ever again. It can be understood. You can't expect a player of 26 to play at the same level as earlier. After 2007 though he fought hard but because of age induced shortcomings, he wasn't able to do much good.

Not quite accurate. His form took a quick dip in 2008 but he was still great in the Slams. He also improved in 2009 and parts of 2010. 2011 and onwards is really where you’re justified to say “he was old”.

In 2011 he was still in his prime, but he was busy choking at the USO and blew the lead against Tsonga at Wimbledon.

True. He also GOATed indoors and managed a very impressive French Open run.

I guess you could say that 2013 was really when his age began to really hinder his play. After that season, he began to experiment with different coaches and got a new racket.
