I've had many users tag me on here either asking questions about my journey, or offering me advice.
Let me preface by thanking all of you for your generosity and willingness to offer your help and guidance as part of this strong community.
I am fully recovered, and this was years ago at this point. For those that are interested, at first I thought it was GE, but it wasn't - I later learned that I was feeling pain in my forearm flexor. As per my previous posts, I was struggling with this issue for a total of three years, and tried everything under the sun to try and help (Physio, Chiro, Osteo, PRP, Myofascial, creams, medications, massage, etc) - essentially, everything except for surgery (although one surgeon wanted to do a fasciotomy).
In the end, I went to one chiropractor in particular who asked me to raise my arms up and down and notice that my lats weren't firing. Remember, it's important to note that I only felt pain after serving, but not from groundstrokes/volleys. He had me doing lat exercises for a month, and after that, I was perfectly fine. It turned out that my lats were weak to the point where my forearm was taking on the load from serving, which is why the pain was delayed (I would feel it the next day) and why it was only brought on by serving.
I have been back at it at playing at a highly competitive level for years now, as a hobby, and will be continuing to do so for my life.
Cheers,
