I have another post on here where I put Gosen OG Sheep crosses with Tonic+ mains, mostly for the purposes of lighting the cost per string job a little.
What Ive found is that the Gosen string is considerably stiff for a SG, and it added enough stiffness to my stringbed where it's undesirable to me (however may work great for someone else). Part of this is choosing the wrong tensions for the strings obviously though.
Once I had tryed VS mains with NXT crosses and I really liked it, in fact it didnt seem that far from my all Tonic+ racquet.
Can anyone recommend another SG or Multi out there that is both softer in feel but still quite cheap? Or are Gosen and Sweet pretty much the only real cheap strings worth getting. (is Sweet softer than Gosen)
Also string breakage isnt much of an issue with me, I dont break strings that often.
