good control and spin racquet

Rookie
i been using head TiS2 until now and i started to realize that it has too much power for me. so i grabed my dad's Yonex R-27 and it feels better but still a bit too much power. i'm looking for a racquet that provides no power for me at all and produces a good spin. (because i throw a lot of spin into my game) please put the name and the reason why it's good, the name by itself doesn't really help me.

POG = ultimate control and spin racquet.

the racquet needs no explanation, multiple opinions on the board will agree pretty much. give it a demo if u can

FXP? is that a initial or that's the name of it?

sorry if this a stupid question but i don't know much about racquets because i didn't need to think about it until now.

he means FlexPoint Radical tour (head), the one I was gonna suggest

I have tried a load of racquets, but keep going back to the Babolat Pure Control Zylon 360 (now d/c). It is relatively light for a control racquet and I have little trouble generating ts. I will agree that there may be a more "spin-friendly" racquet, but overall I can't seem to get away from it. I would really like a shot at the Pure Storm as it is similar specs, slightly larger headsize (98") and rates as a better spin racquet (but they are not cheap).

The Dunlop 300G has good spin and is fairly light, but it may have a little too much power for what you want (it doesn't give no power). I don't think you would want to go from a Head Ti. racket (light and powerful) to a racket with no power. It would probably be too big of a jump and would take a while to adjust, especially since most rackets that get low power rackets are small and heavy. Try demoing and stay away from anything with a string pattern denser than 16x19.

Prince TT warrior os if you do a search on it you will find info on racket. Also check out lead customization thread on it.

would POG be a big jump from a Ti? because i looked up POG long body and it sounded really good...

i got my racket, the babolat aero pro control, because of its control and spin. if u want more control and less power, just crank up the tension. awesome racket, take it for a spin

jaskey, if you know what you are looking for and the POG looks good to you, you should try it. I cannot tell you that a certain racket will not work or whatever. That jump may be what you need. You will only know by trying it out.

'kay i think i'll take a look at all the racquets that have been suggested and maybe demo the four i think i might like

the tt warrior os is the brother to the pog its basically the same racket at a lighter weight. With the pog if you want to customize with lead tape it will start getting heavier where as the warrior os you can customizeto your desire. Mine is 12.5 ounces 12 grams ate 3and 9 and 24 grams in the handle making my stick ready for war.

Even though this is so completely biased....whatever.....the Yonex RDS 001. It's a little more powerful than the RDX 5000, but not by much at all. If you'd be coming from a S2, it would be reallly fitting, i think. control is also excellent. It's hard to get your hand on one for a demo though. try.

I third the Aeropro control..... Need to be above 60lbs for less power. But can you stand the stiffness??
