Assuming the following:
Fed continues his fairly good form.
Rafa continues his fairly poor (by his standards) form.
Novak continues his good form. (Let's forget his last match...)
...then this may well prove beneficial to the endless Rafa vs Federer H2H arguments; that Rafa isn't good enough to regularly get to the business end of the tournaments as regularly as Federer.
If Rafa drops to no.3 in the world, is it not MORE likely that he's going to be in the no.1's half of the draw for tournaments from now on? Hence, they may meet in a quarter or semi?
We may finally get to see the rivalry continue a little more, especially as it seems that Rafa is not getting to the finals as often as he did to meet Fed.
Let me know your thoughts...:???:
