Good shoes for someone with a flat arch and narrow feet?

Hi,
Do you guys know of any good tennis shoes that would suit me--someone who has a flat arch and relatively narrow feet (a little less narrow than standard)? Thanks in advance!

Although not listed by TW as a shoe for narrow feet, I'd recommend the Adidas Baricade II. They fit my narrow feet fine. The arch is a little high for my feet, but everything else about them is so good I don't mind. I wear them on hard courts. For clay, I love the New Balance 820. Although they don't come in a B width, as some NB shoes do, the D width is quite narrow fitting. They are too light and don't have enough support for hard courts, but they are great on clay.

Thanks for your help guys. Orthotics really aren't a good option for me--they are just too uncomfortable. Thanks for the list of narrow fitting shoes. My priority, however, is to find shoes for flat arches. Thanks again! Please continue with your suggestions!

You probably are not wearing the right type of orthotics. They should be custom made for your foot and made for sports. These should be more comfortable than any standard shoe insert that you can buy. Finding a specific shoe that is narrow and for flat arches is not going to be a rewarding experience because in general shoes companies don't make a shoe for such a narrow segment of population. If you do find one it may not be a good tennis shoe!

Do you have flat feet or just prefer very little arch support? Before I was forced to orthotics, Nike had the best arch support for those that needed it. But its not just the shoe you may need to try aftermarket insoles.

I just came across this thread. I have the same problem, narrow feet/flat arch. I tried Prince T10 and they work fine.

I was using Adidas A3 accelerators before that. The fit was almost perfect, but the shoes were not made for hard courts...

I 've listed up Adidas Genius as my next shoes.

I have similarly narrow feet, the Adidas Feather IV's are what I use, the have a narrow fit and are very comfortable. I recommend these.

How do you like your Pro X-1? Great racquet isnt it.

How do you find support in these..? The older version felt sweet out of the box, but support was terrible...

May I ask how long you 've been using them and on what surface?
