Would you happen to know if either of those shops stock Redondo Mids? Or Heritage Type C Mids? or Prestige Classic 600s?

Some good advice in the posts so far. I live in Japan. Racquets are expensive here. Usually buy mine at TW.
I have bought 4 racquets in Hong Kong over the last two years. My humble advice is to know your product well. I haven't seen any fakes, usually sticking to reputable stores, but, there are a lot of 'asian versions' of the popular sticks. THese are lighter, but not marked differently. You will pick it up by reading the specification label. These are quite resellable on TW classifieds, as they are hard to come by in the US, but make sure you get the version that you like.

Racquets in China/Hong Kong are more expensive than in the US.
I went to Beijing and saw them selling 03 speedport tours for 3.6 grand RMB (Roughly 500 USD).

I left.

China is one thing, racquets in Hong Kong definatly has lower price than in US. In fact The retail price of racquet is one of the lowest in the world.
Just dont go to large chain sport stores.

Even if you *do* go to the larger chain sports stores they're still slihgtly cheaper...

I saw a Prince Speedport Tour in Royal Sporting House which was £70-80ish.... around $140-160.

Hi All,

I like to share my experiences with Tennis shops in Hong Kong.

There are two in particular that I like to highlight:

1. MRS in Mong Kok - I have recently bought my new racket from MRS, and have found their service and owner's attitude below average. Please be careful about their certified stringer's service that they offer. I was shocked to find that my brand new racket has been given to one of their shop assistance (I have been told to come back one hour later) to do. When I saw what happened, their assistant gave my racket back to one of their certified stringers to finish off. I hope others has better experience than me. Please beware.

2. Mastergear in Causeway Bay - I have bought racket, clothing and bag from them previously and found their service and owner's attitude one of the best I been to.

Hope that helps.

Cheers

mastergear haaaa i remember that place the guys there are an A#$.... very rude and they kind irritate when I asked few questions
