Surely some of you have seen Goran's most recent interview:
Goran Ivanisevic, Novak Djokovic’s coach, feels that the body language and energy were the deciding factors in his loss to Nadal in Paris – and also spoke about the crowd, the scheduling…

This interview is beyond belief for a prominent coach. First, contrary to what Goran seems to suggest, Novak himself asked for the night match given the advantage he felt it gave him and was explicit about this.
Secondly, Goran himself stated in 2020 that
"I am counting on a Novak/Nadal final in which, in my opinion, Nadal has no chance in such conditions, on this kind of clay court and with Novak who has already entered his head."
Even after seeing Novak get bagelled and beaten down badly in 2020, Goran said
"I have honestly meant what I said, my right is to say what I think."
Now all of a sudden, Goran says
"People were saying that Novak was the favourite in the evening, but there was no foundation for that, I even think that the night match suited Rafa."
However, it wasn't just 'people' saying this,
it was Novak himself and of course Goran himself had said an even stronger version of this. Goran continues:
"Novak likes it when it is warmer, because he can get more free points with his serve and because his ball travels to the ball quicker. People need to look at that as well – what is good for Novak, and not to look at what is not good for Rafa."
This is absolutely golden and barely worthy of a TTW poster and of course he follows up with more from that same bag with a classic coping phrase:
"Rafa used what Novak gave to him."
As if it were irrelevant what the cold and humidity does to Nadal's ball (after all, Nadal only uses what Novak gives to him) and Goran and Djokovic are both so ill-informed that they weren't in fact aware of this. Of course they were and it was precisely the reason why they pushed for that start time in the first place, regardless of the impact on Novak's own game.
As for the rest of the interview, it sounds like a cry for help from a fan club member and not a coach. Making these comments publicly while not even having spoken to your player reeks of desperation and isolation.
