Gosen OG Sheep Micro 17 Durability as a Cross?

I finally found the perfect cross string for my poly mains: Gosen OG Sheep Micro Super 16L (1.25mm). Now that I've found it, T-W stopped carrying it :-x.

So I'm thinking of moving to the 'regular' Gosen OG Sheep Micro Super but can't decide whether to go with the 1.29mm or the 1.22 mm (the 1.25mm was perfect). I'd rather go with the 17g if it will last as long as the poly mains.

So for anyone who has used Gosen OG Sheep Micro Super 17g as a cross, how does it last and play?

Thanks.

Using 17g OGSM with Multi's and Syn Gut (both 16g and 17g). Holds up all the time. Mains always break first. Tones down stiffer strings in the main.

I even have one of my friends used WC Mosquito Bite with OGSM 17g's as well. It's been 4 hrs hitting. So far, so good.

I thought it was perfect, but Babolat n vy destroys it.

OGSM gets hard and stiff after around 4-6 hours of play. N Vy feels the same the entire time and holds tension far better.

Just something to consider.

I'm going to try this N.vy soon. How long til the coating and/or outer wrap starts to shred/fray so that string movement becomes an issue?
