I am having a hard time deciding which reel to get. I am currently using an ncode 6.1 95 with gosen polylon 17 g at 57 lbs. I like it. It gives me decent spin and power. I also hybrid polylon 17g on main with 16 silent partner synthetic gut on cross on my backup ncode 95 and it seems fine with a lil more pop. I have never used the other three: the polylon sp, spinfire and spinfire maxipower. Was wondering how these three compared to the basic polylon 17g that i am using. I prefer the 17g since it seems to bite the ball more than the babolat ballistic 16g that i used last year. Also, gosen is much easier on the arm. Now, if i want more speed, which reel i should go for? if more spin, which one i should get? :p

aslo..for the gosen strings...these poly are monofilament strings while technifibre are monofil with multifilament poly wrap. Does the technifibre string fray just as the synthetic gut?

Get indivual sets of the strings you're curious about and experiment. Then, buy reels of the stuff you like. Don't buy reels based on other people's opinions here; you might be dissapointed.

Technifibre's spinfire doesnt play like syn. gut at all. It feels kinda dead just like any other polys but it offers tons of control, great spin, and very durable. IMO its a great string if you dont need extra power, if you do, mayb try the maxipower version.

Hi dewey2110, Tecnifibre Spinfire is good as a main string with these descriptions. Do you know how does it feel compared to kevlar as a main?

how does spinfire compare to gosen polylon? would you say more power or less? more feel or less feel? thanks
