got a nice gift from a friend

Wow that’s a nice friend for sure. Use em!

A question just popped into my mind. How come Head didn’t update and keep the Pro Tour model line going? It’s seemed like a pretty popular model over the years. Pros used it, and it’s gotten a couple reissues over time. But unlike the Radical, or Prestige, it didn’t get carried over and receive a refresh very often, minus the Ti Pro Tour, that’s the exception. After that, crickets.

I thought the PT280\630 were the genesis of all subsequent Radical Tour \ Prestige MP models (95sqi, 20mm beam, 18x20) until it became actually 98sqi. Albeit they lost weight and added a different tech to the layup every few years. Plus the PT 2.0 of course.

Yeah but where's the i-Pro Tour, or the Liquidmetal Pro Tour, or the Flexpoint, Microgel, Youtek, Graphene etc... You'd think they'd resurrect that PT name for a few of those generations?

I guess the i-Pro Tour is the i-Prestige MP as it uses the same (TK57) mould. No idea why they got rid of the Pro Tour name.
