I have one set of Raptor IV's and these seem to be very well suited to my semi-narrow, semi-flat feet. I'm 49 and I think my feet are maybe a little less narrow than they were a few years ago, but with a decent fit, I'm more at home in a shoe that's slightly on the narrow side of medium width.
I also have an older set of Gel Resolutions (maybe GR 3's), which have held up well over a couple of years. I use them a lot when working/teaching at a clay court club in the summers, so they haven't taken too much wear on the soles. Super comfy at this point given the mileage they've racked up on my feet.
Now that I've also put a few miles on my Raptors, I'm convinced that these shoes have the potential for my personal hall of fame status. They give me decent ankle alignment - I may supinate just a hair in my GR's - and my foot rests more low-to-the-ground in the Lottos. For me, that lower layout gives me much better stability and "positive connection" to the surface under my feet. The Raptors also get enhanced stability from having a concave sole (looking down the length of the sole, not the width). The edges of the sole make more contact with the ground than the center.
The extra "stuff" under my foot with the GR's is less confidence inspiring, especially when I want to move laterally in a hurry. They feel a little more "tippy" compared with my Raptors, which feel very fast. The cushioning in a typical Asics Gel shoe is certainly quite good, but the Raptors are treating my knees and ankles just fine.
Ventilation in the Raptors seems acceptable - haven't used them in serious heat just yet, traction is fantastic, and no signs of durability issues with either the soles or uppers so far.
I also have two generations of Lotto's Vector and the older pair may be from two generations ago (both of my Vectors are now discontinued). The interior of the older Vectors holds my feet nicely, but the newer pair have different liners that have turned out to be slick and uncomfortable for me. My Raptors are in between - they're only mildly slippery whether I wear a cotton or synthetic sock, but this hasn't proven to be a problem like it was with the newer Vectors. When the Raptors lace up, they really wrap onto my feet and don't let them float around. Again, a very positive connection with the ground.
I'll be grabbing a second pair of Raptors, perhaps next week. Just have to choose a color. From the looks of your wish list, I think you'd be smart to give a pair (or two) of these shoes a sampling. I'd honestly be happy to buy a second pair even if they weren't marked down to where they are now.
