The final chapter, again in Open Era only:

1974 Final: 1st seed Connors beats 5th seed Rosewall 6-1, 6-0, 6-1
A heartbreaker when you consider the legend that was Rosewall but even still this was really bad. Mind you Connors was a great returner but there's no way this looks justifiable as is. Rosewall didn't have marathons like at Wimbledon and he was still seeded 5th.

1978 Final: 2nd seed Connors beats 1st seed Borg 6-4, 6-2, 6-2
This lacks the bagel or breadstick eye catch but it does feature Borg in his worst Slam Finals loss of his career. Borg would avenge this in a straight sets win over Connors in 81.

2001 Semi: 4th seed Hewitt beats 7th seed Kafelnikov 6-1, 6-2, 6-1

Kafelnikov had just straight set the #1 Kuerten 6-4, 6-0, 6-3 while Hewitt was coming off a marathon match.

2001 Final: 4th seed Hewitt beats 10th seed Sampras 7-6, 6-1, 6-1
In Sampras' career he only lost 4 Slam Finals and only 2 of them were in straights. Back to back with Safin in 00 and Hewitt in 01. However in 01 despite the 10th seed, Sampras dismantled Safin in the semifinal in straights as revenge. Perhaps the Kafelnikov match should have warned about Hewitt's meddle but he needed 5 sets against young Roddick so there really was no true indication he was going to embarrass the legend. Sampras would of course go on to win the following year.

2004 Final: 1st seed Federer beats 4th seed Hewitt 6-0, 7-6, 6-0

You'd think a tiebreak set automatically voids this for consideration but not when you consider the history of the final. In the Open Era there have only been a total 9 bagel sets in the final. So to have 2 of them in one match cannot be ignored and Hewitt was a strong opponent while Federer was just getting started in his prime years.
