Lol, what does reaching the SF have to do with actually winning the title? That Wawrinka loss in 2014 snapped a potential streak of 6 and counting

Oh sorry, I didn't fully understand. I thought if he had 6 AOs then didn't that mean he made at least 6 semi=finals?

But now I understand the word streak.

Not only that, but his non AO Semi streaks are still active, while his current AO SF streak is only 2 (2 titles). His 2014 AO loss to Stan cut him off, and he hasn't made an AO Semi without winning it.

Yep Novak never lost a AO semi or final! Quite amazing. Yet his consistency at getting to those stages is better at the other 3 majors but he wins all the time at Oz when he gets there :p

Djokovic clearly less consistent at the AO than Murray. Nadal clearly less consistent at RG than Djokovic.

Kind of shows that while these streaks are nice they don't say much.

So Djokovic has 3 at the AO, yet has 6 titles, 6 at RG with 0 titles, and NINE at the USO with only 2 titles.

WTF

Another thing is djokovic never lost in finals after winning first set apart from RG 14 and 15, RG is truly cursed for him.
He is 55-2 win loss record in finals after winning first set,
One of the main reason why people say that you have to win first set against Djok to make it competitive, at least in finals.

Djokovic is one of the best front-runners in history.

Considering he's won 64 titles maybe 55-2 is not correct? Could be 53-2

Don't care enough about Sampras to do this for him :p

May be I got little bit wrong but it is around same 50 or 53-2 .
Main point is he lost only two finals after being set up and that too in RG.
