Granville's preference for LM Prestige MP over LM Radical MP

Hi,

I was just wondering what was it that convinced Granville to make the switch to the LM Prestige midplus, even though he had similarly positive comments for the LM Radical midplus, and the Radical is 'rated' more highly?

Would appreciate any light TW staff could shed on my query.

Thanks, and keep up the good work!

numbers dont say everything. im sure they have different "feels". there are the same racquet at all.

yes, i realise that the rating numbers are just a guide. Which is why I was asking what the differences are between the radical and prestige, numbers aside.

I am not sure about the ratings, but I did demo both of them for over a week. The greatest difference is stiffness of the two racquets. Much softer feel with the Prestige. From there it is all subjective. What do you want from your racquet. Traditional feel or stiff head light feel. I felt I got more pace on serve with Radical, but groundstrokes and volleys were better with the Prestige. I did weight them exactly the same for the demo. Put them both just below 13oz., which may change things for me versus other players. I hit with the Radical without added weight and it was just too light for me.
