Gravity Pro extended - TGT344 XL

Hey guys,

I am currently playing with my PT57As extended to 27.6inch and loving it. But got suddenly curious of the extended gravity pro. I played a bit with both the 2019 and auxetic version of gravity pro in the past and liked it, but feel like it is quite underpowered compare to my current set up with my PT57As.

I am wondering how a 27.6 inch TGT344.4 would play, if anyone has experience with it or if anyone tried to extend a retail gravity pro in the past?

Thanks for your feedbacks!

hi, my current unstrung setup on the Gravity ProStock is 310gr, 31.2 cm balance, 297 SW, 27.25 lenght

I have never found the Gravity underpowered, but it needs more linear strokes, if you play with too much top spin you play a bit short (same experience I had with the 351.1 radical prostock).
If you have an aggressive style it's fantastic, you always have to push...and the extra half cm helps on serve for sure.

My first setup was 308gr, 292 SW, but now I only use 1.20 strings (max 1.23) on the Gravity so I prefered to had 2 grams at 2-10 on both racquets and use thinner gage strings. The strung SW is similar, but with the thinner gage I get more string's action and more spin.

My FH, playing 80% of the time on clay, is now more whippy, so I'm using the Diadem Elevate V3 (with similar specs but stardand lenght) as main stick...

Biggest issue with gravity pro is the maneuverability due to the head shape compared to your PT57As. An extension makes it challenging for anyone to just pick it up and get used to it. I use a tgt344.3 extended to 27.4 inches and it plays amazing. I do have issues sometimes maneuvering it on forehands and sometimes bringing it down on serves but that's probably on a bad tennis day and technique. However it is the best twohanded backhand hitting racquet ever made for me. I think 27.6 is a good idea on the gravity pro you can get away with a lot with the added length and 100 sq inch head compared to a PT57A.

Hope this helps.
