Andy Murray, Dan Evans, Kyle Edmund, Jamie Murray and Dominic Inglot vs. Juan Martin Del Potro, Federico Delbonis, Guido Pella and Leonardo Mayer

Apparently it's the Murray's, Evans and Edmund as the British team so Andy's playing on all three days. Not really sure he needs to, seems like he'll probably win both singles and Evans/Edmund well capable of beating Delbonis I would think.

Good to have some actual tennis to talk about rather than this mud slinging war that seems to have begun.

Murray V Delpo will be a very interesting match on its own. But regardless of the result GB are the favourites here. Strong doubles team as well as Evans who has been doing well of late.

Argentina staying coy on when Delpo will face Andy, first or third day. Surely it has to be day 3 after Andy's played doubles.

Good thing it isn't on clay then, but on hard. Even if it was, I would think Edmund would stand a fair chance. Seems pretty good on clay.

"It is still uncertain as to whether a match between Del Potro and Murray would be on Friday and Sunday.

If the Argentine was nominated for the opening day singles rubbers, he would be the visitors’ No. 2 player behind Guido Pella or Federico Delbonis and would play Murray on Friday. However, some believe that Argentina captain Daniel Orsanic may opt to bring in Leonardo Mayer, who then would be the No. 2 behind Del Potro.

Orsanic admitted on Wednesday that he has already made his mind up on his singles nominations, although he was understandably remaining coy when asked if he would rather Del Potro face Murray on Friday or Sunday."

Quite surprised at this decision. Delpo would almost certainly beat Edmund and even if GB win the doubles then Argentina would still have a chance going into day 3 with Delpo taking on a very tired Andy. Then they would need a win over Edmund to see it through.

This way I see Britain 3-0 up by Saturday evening.

Del Potro is the number #2 ranked player in Team Argentina and so has to play the number #1 ranked player in Team GB ie. Murray. The number #1 player in Team Argentina ie. Pella is then matched with the number #2 in Team GB ie. Edmund.

They had the option of selecting Mayer/Delpo on day one which would have made Delpo the number 1 Argentine. Mayer takes the bullet against Andy and Delpo faces Edmund. Also would rest Pella or Delbonis for Edmund on Sunday.

Where is Leonardo Mayer in the rankings? He used to be on the cusp of the top 20 not so long ago.

Dangerous player if he finds his form.

Del Potro was the weaponry to beat all the players he faces.

Jamie Murray expected to be missing from the stands tomorrow to attend grandfather's funeral :( Andy won't attend funeral so that he can play Del Potro.

Murray has passed Hewitt for best lobber in the game. Even if Hewitt was still around, The ammount of time he hits such a perfect one over tall opponents blows my mind.

Murray with the early break and looking good, Delpo looked much stronger on Murray's serve than he did on his own.

I just checked my usual stream places and cant find one either. Im watching it live on tv. If you're in the UK territory's then you could probably watch it on the bbc website live. which is here http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/live/bbctwo
Awesome, thanks! It works through VPN. There's a popup that looks like it's going to ask you for an access code, bit it turns out it's just checking whether you have any morals. :D

Hehe, didn't see this thread before.
I'm British but I want Delpo to win this one:)

I can't tolerate this kind of betrayal. Consider yourself reported and ignored.

Good to see somebody on the comeback trail and I hope it is for real. I'm pretty neutral. I pick moments when to be loyal to the country.. This probably isn't one of them. :p This match doesn't decide the contest.
