I can't tolerate this kind of betrayal. Consider yourself reported and ignored.

Hehe, I'm sure you can suck it up just this once :)

Delpo winning this will spice up the other rubbers somewhat.

I don't want Argentina to win, just Delpo ;)

Close second set here...
Murray's hands at the net are mostly good but his approaches are not up there with the greats by a long shot...

The crowd have really got to Delpo there.... that should of been replayed i think but Murray takes the 2nd set!

Sadly this match-up is predictable, just like Djokovic - Murray is. There is no doubt in the end who is going to win.

Talk about a boring Murray strategy.
He doesn't have a chance against Delpo's forehand so he ducks for cover.
Crosscourt...slice...crosscourt...slice...crosscourt...

Thank the heavens he didn't get near the USO final this year, him at the top of the game would be the death of tennis viewership.

Del Potro is trying to do things differently than he did in Olympics, but he is just hitting way too few topspin backhands. This Sliceman aint going to be any serious challenge despite making it close.

Djokovic is way more boring to watch that Murray is. Im not saying Murray is mega exciting but the ammount of match-ups that Djokovic makes dull is way way higher than Murray. The US open final was one of the most boring finals iv watched in years and that was between 2 men who "used" to produce watchable tennis.

Yes, players with bleeding toes seldom play the match of their lives.

Can you say, in all honesty, that this shouting crosscourt pushfest from Murray is more interesting than the thundering tennis usually exhibited in Djokovic-Wawrinka clashes ?!
Ignore the Davis Cup enthusiasm and focus merely on the tennis strategies.

In general no, the Australian open matches rank extremely highly to me as high quality tennis and way better than this current match. However comparing this match to the US open final? Yes. This match is better, im enjoying this match way more. All Wawrinka does is ball-bash and Djokovic retrieves. This match has angles, variety, drop shots, net play. It has actual tennis. Not frigging pong.

What on earth was that shot from Murray, he should of obliterated that ball but he gifted that point away...

Still far from it, but wouldn't it be unbelievable if after 3 years out of the game, Del Potro could come back and score wins over each of the Top4?

Murray stopped playing because he thought he heard a let and the ball direction changed. Everyone heard it, including the umpire but it looks like the point will be counted. Murray says "might as well just start the 4th set then" he's not happy about that.

This USO final had a hurt competitor.
Is that the bar you're setting? "This Davis Cup match is way better than a match where one player couldn't move!"

And if you think Djokovic was defending more than Murray is doing here, despite playing against a guy with no backhand, then you probably weren't paying attention.
This is mind... numbing... thankfully Del Potro's risk taking is being rewarded more than Murray 0% risk game.
