Hello to all fans of true tennis and it's heroes. Today i want to present you personal racquet of one of the most enigma-player of all time. He created one of the greatest upsets in the history. The upset that you highly likely didn't know about. You will be surprised with the name of this guy. But first I want to tell you the main numbers of his unreal career.

He entered TOP 50 at the age of 18 years and 10 months. Current No 1 Jannik Sinner did at 19 years and 2 months.

After our hero broke into TOP 100 on 20.02.1989 he stayed there till 19.09.1994. During these 5,5 years he made 4 TOP 40 finishes:
1990 - 21,
1991 - 21,
1992 - 32,
1993 - 37.
His highest ATP position was 13.

During these 5,5 years he won 2 ATP titles, reached 3 QF's at Grand Slams, defeated Pete Sampras at Barcelona Olympics in 5-set epic and won Bronze medal!

Maybe he wasnt an elite player, but a very serious guy for sure! And then...

In september of 1994 he fell out of TOP 100 and never entered it again! From 1995 (when he was only 24) till the end of his active career in 2004 he won just 14 matches at ATP level. This number of wins, 14, he registered at 18-19 years in just one season in 1989.

Now compare these two numbers:
From 1989 to 1993 he won 154 ATP level matches, and during second half of his career from 1994 to 2004 - just 22.

He entered Adelaide hardcourt ATP event in 1997 having no wins over TOP 75 for 2 years and 10 months, but wrote a fairytale in Australia.

He defeated no 40 Furlan in 1st RD and then caused that historical upset, that I mentioned in the beginning. He defeated then no 62 Pat Rafter. We all know how Rafter reborn in 1997 and became a Top player. A true giant of hardcourts. But on that day - 1st of January of 1997 - he lost to our man - 26 67 (13)!

The last pro match of this man was at Futures event in 2013 versus Alexander Pavlioutchenkov (Anastasia's brother, but he used different transcription in surname).

The name of our hero is Andrei Cherasov. And here you are - HIS PERSONAL RACQUET WITH HIS SIGNATURE !!!

The buttcap looks like a prestige classic 1st gen Austrian made buttcap but without the head sticker ofc, as if it had been removed.
However it could just be a Volkl buttcap I'm not familiar with that brand
Again, thanks for sharing your collection

Who knows. I only have his personal C10 Pro. As I've heard from common pals, Cherkasov lives in US nowadays
He does. Last I heard he was coaching at IMG.
