Same knee problem as at Miami.
Most probably, will not play at RG.
Might change her coach.

Money Talks even if Simona can't walkLOL. How old is she? Stop farting around and retire already.
Won her first match in WTA 125 Hong Kong against Rodionova (#114). Happened to catch the tail of the match. She looked visibly fitter than her previous attempt to come back. Post-match interview, she said she was "very tired". Next round is either Navarro or Birrell. Lots of discussion in social media why top-10 player like Navarro is playing at WTA 125 - most likely it's the appearance fee. Unless she throws the match, next round opponent is likely to be Navarro.
Stars bring in fans. Nobody is showing up for someone you have not heard of. There as a rule proposed at one point limiting the number of top players allowed to participate in a single 125.WTA 125 is for lower ranked players to accumulate points and/or earn some desperately needed prize money, top 10 players should not be allowed to enter, and most won't do it, it's just too low! But consider Navarro's upbringing (slumlord billionaire dad), it's just a natural thing for her to do, instead of spending her own money while waiting in China. she now gets free lodging and handsome appearance fee, what a smart girl, as her dad would say!

Players need to earn their spot. There's nothing for free. It's pro tennis. Navarro is a relative newcomer too. That's not the point here, Navarro took a spot away from some other girls who really need it, in the past we have seen some top girls playing 125, but usually it's because they did so poor on tour, they entered to get some wins to boost the confidence, Navarro is currently riding high on her USO SF, this is just shameless greedy from her!
If she had signed up before the deadline, she earned the spot regardless of her ranking, but she got a wild card last week, so yes she took a spot away from others.Players need to earn their spot. There's nothing for free. It's pro tennis. Navarro is a relative newcomer too.

Big if true....No one is showing up just to see Navarro.
Seriously. If you're getting injuries despite barely playing, it's over.Hang ‘em up, sweetie. It’s time.
She will do her best to play there, I'm sure.Looks like her next tournament is at Cluj-Napoca Transylvania Open in the beginning of February. Let's see whether she's able to use her wildcard this time.
She has only played 5 matches since her comeback and only won 1 against Rodionova in HK Open.
Thanks for the information. Appreciated. She will do her best to play there, I'm sure.
Organizers said she will have her 1st R match scheduled next Tuesday.
"Of course I think about retirement, and it crosses my mind very often. I'm old, I have injuries that I can't recover from. The knee is not recovering.
