Great to be Novak fan at the moment

Lets think about it:

Roger fans: There is already a Nadal breathing down their master's neck, what with an #almostlockedfrenchopen that eats up Roger's lead every year. Can't really shut up the Nadal fans in the race to GOAT debate. Now here's Novak again rising from the dead pushing Roger out from the two surfaces that he was having a chance on. But at least he is spanking Rafa and still quite some time before he puts Roger's 20 GS record in danger. So no harm in supporting him for now. He is our only chance to stop Rafa from overtaking our master.

Rafa fans: Oh dear, the GOAT race was almost won if not for Novak at WIM and AO. This Novak has ruined it completely. Why could he not live with Pepe for couple of years more. Now there's so much pressure to win FO where again this Novak might dish out the FO 2015 treatment. If Nadal doesn't win it the GOAT race is over and then it will be better to retire from this forum as Roger fans will start dishing out with interest what we were throwing before the AO final. Now that it has become really difficult to thwart two fan bases so lets side up with Novak for the moment even though chances are he may violate Nadal more this year.

Novak fans: Good to see both sides trying to line up on our side. Novak is still behind Rafa and Roger so at least couple of slam wins for Novak more before the two fan bases start uniting together against us. And our boy is really doing very well so anyways we can bash up both sides in any talks for now. In case our man again slips away in coma there's always the current strategy of Roger and Rafa fans that can be followed.

That is why I said it is the best time. Roger fans still don't see him as a 100% threat. Rafa is threatening Roger while Novak is threatening Rafa. Poor Rafa fans can't side with Roger fans at the moment so they are siding up with Novak group.

It will be nasty, IF, the three are within 1 slam of each other

I don't know about Rafa fans but Fed fans are not worried about Rafa as well. Rafa is a worthy competitor and would well deserve to get the most slams but his chances of getting 4 more are really difficult.

In fact, it is nice to see Novak and Rafa cancel out each other from moving too much forward.
 
Novak is cruising. Zverev is the only one mounting a challenge against him right now. As long as he can avoid him, there is no stopping Ultron this year!

correction. becker won 6, djoko needs 5 (1RG + another 4) that's will be enough to overtake

yea but he doesnt' do anything for you .. so what good is that ? he doesn't hug you or talk to you thru emails or twitter. That is bad. he needs to do more for his fans

I am too. like if you tweet to him like "Hey novak, I think you didn't come to net enough on that last match with Tsitsipas, and that is why you lost". Then if he really cared about his fans,,, he would tweet to you back saying something like "Thnaks for the feedback , man. yea I agree I should come in little more but that Stepano's shots were deep and super powerful, so I really didn't have many chances to come in. also I was way too far behind the baseline pushed backwards by his powerful shots. So again, I really couldn't come to the net much at all".

But did he tweet back to you like that ?????????????????????? DID HWE ??????????????? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

How can I say when I have never tweeted him?
 
Lots of fans ignore Nadal's resurgence ..
He was written off in 2016.
From January 2017 to January 2019 - Rafa has reached 5 Slam finals out of 9 slams, 2 semis, 1 quarter.. Most consistent during this period at Slams.

If not for Djokovic, GOAT title was done and dusted. Djokovic's Rise is a surprise for entire tennis fan base.
Also most Rafa fans on this forum have done well to take such huge loss..Most have remained classy.
But I think Rafa still has chance to reach 20 slams , If Someone takes out Djoker at Non clay slams..
2019 & 2020 are crucial years for Big 3's legacy.
 
Shoot, guess what? I just opened my fridge and I saw Djokovic. He is in my freaking fridge and I'm scared to death. What do I do? Shall I ask him something or call the police o_O?

I am not making any projections on the slam race but what is pretty clear is a 32+ guy winning 5+ more slams is definitely more likely than a 36+ year old winning 3 slams. Tennis is an old man and womens game these days and has been for awhile now.
 
It's always cool to be behind the challenger, the underdog, the third wheel, the guy who wasn't expected, David vs. Goliath, the Rebel Alliance vs. the Empire, small scale producers vs. Big Money industries...

Even cooler when there's a decent chance the impossible gets accomplished. And freaking great when it does get achieved.

Yup. In terms of slams, but always in terms of popularity and champion mentality. He may in fact grab more titles, but never add to those later two. It is unfortunate he has been in the shadows of Federer and Nadal, but he has never helped his case with his attitude and cockiness. They've done well to groom him to say many of the right things, but at heart that is not him and most people see it. That will always keep his fan base from growing. The only time Fed or Nadal fanbois have any interest in him winning is when he becomes the spoiler for iether of those two with it.
