Great videos about understanding how RHS is created and the racquet lag and release

Randomly found these videos when watching for similar videos on youtube, and found the explanation very clear and solid.
Alot of people here who mentioned many times that they don't understand the kinetic chain and releasing of the stored energy into the racquet, and how the energy is transfered, I think this video really helps you to understand all of that and why the racquet lags and releases into the shot, and exactly how you generate a ton of racquet speed resulting in a ton of power and spin.

Also interested in what some other people who are more knowledgable and understand this better will comment on regards of the videos, and what their view is

The guy is japanese or something, but you have translation aswell:

Here are also some slow motion forehands from Fed where you can clearly understand that whole lag and release after watching these vids and maybe it will be more clear now how things work and happen in good forehands:

I honestly believe I can teach this to any person older than 10 years with average IQ and no physical disability in just 3 minutes! The problem is people still can't do it , so understanding is not enough.

Ive read quite a few people on this forum that don't even aknowledge this tho, not that they can't do it, don't believe the stroke works like this.

How Federer's shots can be explained otherwise, I don't know. It's 100% clear to me.

His idea of how to create topspin in the second video is something I haven't heard of before but it makes sense to me. The alignment of swing path with the axis of torso rotation sounds like a great idea.

Never seen his channel before, great videos!

I really like his river analogy as it helps convey free flowing and smooth energy transfer. Center axis definitely is good imagery for those who struggle with rotation.
Different people respond differently to instructions so sometimes the best advice is just another way of seeing or explaining something.

Tennis in simplest form is basically getting the ball over the net and to do so you brush/hit from a lower to higher position. You can learn to do this within minutes with your arm but it takes much longer to coordinate with your entire body.

The kinetic chain can be understood by your mind but to really understand you gotta feel and know it through doing. Basically its just getting into position and using the firm, balanced stance from your legs and assistance from your core to generate rotation of your entire body in order to release your arm/racquet into the ball in a controlled manner. You can arm the ball all you want but eventually without using momentum and rotation to assist you, you are gonna fatigue your arm eventually.

In this sport, the more relaxed you are the more spin and power you will be able to generate.

It was a good reminder on the FH about the axis of the body (Some other people refer it to moving the hips first/pushing on the back leg).
