Phil, I know you say soccer in USA for what we call football in europe, my post was a machiavelic :twisted: but apparently unsuccessful tentative to give to you and littleleyton, one more reason to continue the fight about soccer/football, I was waiting for you to blast me by claiming that only the US football deserves the name "football", and that you said "soccer" because it is the only how we should call the FIFA football in the world, then Littleleyton would have jumped on his keyboard to tell you the opposite, and to accuse you and your cocitizens to be too much USA self centered, and how there is a world outsided USA, and Blah, Bla, Blah,... then your fight with Littleleyton in this thread could have been endless, but apparently my little trick didn't work...

And can you please explain me the thing about "just as YOU say "Le Royale"", because I didn't understood what you meant or the idea behind these few words.

The "Le Royale" comment obviously was well over your head...it's a reference to a conversation in the movie "Pulp Fiction" where John Travolta and Samual L. Jackson are talking about Big Macs (that's a type of hamburger served by McDonald's), and Travolta said that in FRANCE, they call Big Macs "Le Royale".

Brettolius - Franco was GREAT and was probably THE major contributor to the Steelers' offense but, as much as I love the guy, I can think of about 10 or 12 backs who were better-in addition to Brown, Payton, Sayers, Sims, etc. I THOUGHT of it, but again, there are several who would have to be considered ahead of him. That said, he did make the greatest play in the history of the NFL-"The Immaculate Reception".

Honnestly? If no, then I just misunderstood, but you actually getted slightly under his nerves, even if it was unintentional !!!

And yes, The "Le Royale" comment obviously was well over my head, I obviously made it clear, and that is why I asked you to clarify what you meant, you have tried to do it, thank you, but I still doesn't understand, perhaps that I have to try to eat at a Mc Donald's restaurant one time in my life to be able to understand, , Now I have a reason to try a Mc Donald's restaurant, and will do it perhaps this evening, it won't kill me anyway < well, I hope???>.

I also never saw the film that you are talking about, I know it is from Quentin Tarantino, but I only saw Reservoir Dogs from him, which I liked pretty much, I suppose that you understand that peoples all over the world don't have the obligation to see all the Hollywood films, and that it is not a "crime" or a sign of stupidity to ignore some of these films <avoiding to see some films can even be a sign of good intellect, my young brother forced me to watch "resident evil" with him, and damned, how I regret it, that film was so freakin' stupid, almost hilarious!!!>, but if you tell me that Pulp Fiction is worth the effort, then I'll take your words, and will try to see it.

since there is anything but football being discussed then wtf obviously its not going to get a talk of football so lets make this a movie thread.

spinbalz, there are many hollywood films that you should not subject yourself to, im not going to bother telling you what ones, but pulp fiction is not one of these hollywood films. its not really falling into the bracket of high budget hollywood movies. you should see it, its a classic, already. the story take you on a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs with all the surprises of a good rollercoaster you have never been on, there are twists and turns and it keeps you gripped to the screen the whole way through. the soundtrack is amazing also, as with most of quentins films

I'm not telling you that Pulp Fiction is worth the effort-I'm making a POINT by using a scene in that film; languages are different, no words in one language should be considered "wrong" by people who speak another language. Do you get it NOW?
