Greatest Player of All Time

In the non-tennis sense of the word "player", who is the best? These pictures alone cement Safin as a GOAT candidate in this regard. However, Nastase, Gerulaitis, Rios and Stepanek could give him a run for his money. What do you think?

So now being mentally weak and not being able to be in a serious relationship for a long time is greatness?

I would say guys who are married 50 years to the same woman, this is greatness. It's easy to switch partners all the time, when things aren't going your way.

… Player… As in the player who has a lot of women…

jg, I agree. By the way, Ken Rosewall and Wilma are married now for 58 years...

Stepanek>Safin in this regard, because he is working with much more limited facial assets and still manages to "play" on the same level.

No offence, but all those girls with Safin look like p0rnst@rs. Not my taste at all.

LOL. From the looks of that picture, Safin was all about quantity rather than quality in those days. When he won the AO in 2005, his girlfriend at the time was hawt.

Haha. Well said, sir.
Stepanek plays the game on Expert mode, because his looks make it hard for him to accomplish results.

Here is Sexanek in his natural habitat, eyeing his prey!

Oh, I don't know about the '05 one. But seriously, the girls in pics above are hardly attractive, except maybe the one in middle & right, in the '02 AO photo.

Man, you have been posting some funny stuff lately.

Can't take credit for this photo though. Saw it while browsing MTF.

The guy isn't even satisfied with Kvitova. Just look at him lusting for Wozniacki.
WTA should lock up their hotties inside. Because when Sexanek is on a prowl, no lady can resist his amphrodisiac growl. ;)

Thanks, lol. I didn't see the apostrophes in the word.

My bad. I admit when I'm wrong. Sorry OP.

In that case the goat is Stepanek. Considering how he wasn't at the top and doesn't have such fame and money and looks to help him.

We are talking "pound for pound" here. Like in boxing. Radek achieved the most here considering what he has.

So, Radek is the goat "pound for pound".

Also paying for sex doesn't count as greatness.

I came in just to say that.

"Assets" ??? Man, he has liabilities above his neck ! I wonder what could compensate for that protuberance he calls a head. :)

Federer is the greatest player, Nadal is the greatest Clay courter ever.

So from a period of 10 years we've been treated to two of the greats of tennis. Plus Djokovic who's by no means a pushover.
