Grigor Dimitrov update

I think that it is a bit too earlier to call him a mini Federer in the making.

He has a 6-7 win/loss this year losing to David Guez, Donald Young, Marco Crugnola & Robert Kendrick (in the AO qualies). Not a good start of the year, in my opinion. I feel like he should already be beating these guys by now.

Hopefully he will break in this year into the top 100.
 
yeah i totally agree but he's still young so he has plenty of time
but i like how nike and wilson picked him up since people called him
the so called next "federer"
 
that video you just posted was from the honolulu challenger
he just recently signed with nike during the davis cup match with monaco
i think he looks alot better in nike than adidas
adidas looks too big on him :D
 
Anyone have any confirmed or more info on his string and tension?
It looks to be Alu Power, and one person had stated he strung at 42/40.
Seems like a really low tension, I'm interested to see this confirmed or not. He seems like a pretty flat hitter from what I've seen and it would be interesting for him to string that loose and hit that flat. :P
 
I spoke to a friend of his, he said Wilson and Nike offered him a really good contract that he couldn't turn down
 
Yeah well, i think he was dropped and Nike snatched him. Although, why would he be wearing clothing from last year?

That being said, i know Adidas don't pay the lower ranked guys nearly as well as the ones at the top.

I have really enjoyed the little I've seen of Dimitrov. At the level he's at right now it's all about learning to put wining streak togther. You aren't going to move up by winning a match here or there. That just won't get him the points. I'm not concerned if his the next anything at the moment. I just hope he can get over the hump so that we can see him play more often.
 
i think the reason why he's wearing old nike clothes because he had just recently signed with nike during the bulgaria davis cup match or around that time
