Grip sizes are trending smaller now with the pros.

Just bought a new Wilson BLX Six One 95 over the weekend from Players in Portland. I told the sales person the grip size I was looking for (4 1/2) and he said the trend is smaller grips now days. It used to be go with the largest...

My demos were at 4 3/8 which I could get a good snap on my serve, so I'm going a little smaller now with this racket. He said he doesn't even stock the larger sizes anymore.

Can anyone tell me a little more about this trend? I'm liking it...

i did the same thing w/ my blx 95s. the demo i got from TW was surprisingly 1/4...it worked out for me and i didnt want to change anything from the demo, so i went w/ 1/4. haven't looked back since.

Dude first of all they've got the coolest people ever running that place second it is supposidly to get more spin but it hurts my hand so i use 5/8 grip
