im currently using a 1/4 grip size racquet, but i wrapped 3 over grips + 1 replacement grip on it. its a tiny big, but it works for me. so i say false.
I guess it can happen but I think it's less likely than a grip size that's too small hurting your arm/hand/wrist.
A too small grip can make your strokes more wristy thereby hurting your wrist, and it can also make you grip tighter to hold on to the grip and to keep it from twisting thereby hurting your hand.
yea i iono whats the deal, i demo'd a six.one with a huge grip iono why but i did. yesterday i hurt my arm and i thought it was because its heavy. i had to turn it back in today so i was using my dads hammer 5.0 stretch. that has a huge grip too but its really light and it still hurt my arm. wtf m8
My hand chart said i should be using 4 3/8 grip but i use size 5 grip.... do you guys think that is why i have so much trouble with 1-handed backhand ??

It's easier to hit a one-handed backhand with a larger grip because it gives your thumb more real estate on the grip which is the only part of your hand that's behind the grip when you hit one-handed backhands.

I find bigger grips better than smaller...I end up straining my forearm with small grips
the smaller the grip the tighter you hold it...more tension...more risk of injury
