grommets for 2014 Babolat Pure Strike 98 and 100

It's possible to adapt grommets for 2014 Babolat Pure Strike 98 16x19 to fit 2014 Babolat Pure Strike 100 16x19? I have a lot of grommets for 2014 PS 98 16x19 and I don't want to buy new grommets for 2014 PS 100 16x19.

I think maybe it's possible to cut in smaller pieces the grommets I already have to be able to fit them in the 100 16x19 frame. The circumference of the 100 frame is slightly bigger than the circumference of the 98's frame! Another problem is the bumper guard but it should be possible to adjust because is only 2-3 mm between the bumper guards from both models.

I get this idea from that is possible to buy generic grommets and fit them in which frame you want in the similar way I describe here.

It's not a problem to found grommets to buy. TW-house have it. By mistake I already have a lot of grommets for 98-frame. I want to try to solve the problem without to buy new grommets for the 100-frame!!!

You really are probably going to have to get the frame and see how the grommets line up. If it's just a subtle shift, I suspect you might be able to get the grommet strips up and stretch as needed (maybe soak in hot water ?). Maybe you could cut the top grommet guard down middle and insert each piece if you can't get enough stretch. However, what concerns me is the stringing instructions between the two frames are different (skip 8HT, versus skip 7 HT, 9 HT). This makes me think things may not work out.

Yep, you can always just cut them in half or pieces, it just looks a little odd.

TW sell individual replacement grommets (practical are individual tubes) and therefore I think my idea should be work well!

I do not understand stringing instructions but in another message I found that PS 100 16x19 has 8T and 8H skips. I do not found how is it for PS 98 16x19. Once again: I don't know what it means!

Here in Sweden I can't sell grommets sets: nobody repair tennis racquets.

What I can see is only the grommets piece on the top of the frame who I need to cut in several parts. The grommets pieces on the sides should be fit easy. Otherwise to fit the rest of grommets pieces should need only minor adjustments (read few cuts).

One of PS 100 have the bumper guards heavily worn and need new string. Therefore I think that I should cut out the string and take out the grommets and check the situation.

Yes, it doesn't worked out perfectly!!! On the top, 6 of the grommets was thicker on 100-frame: 3 on each size right and left. On 98-frame are only 4 thicker grommets! At the same time 2 or 4 of those thicker grommets should be a little bit longer.

The bumper guard is slightly different but I menaged to adapt it. But I need some more thicker grommets tobe able to put it together.
