Grommets/Head guards for older rackets?

#1
How do you know which newer racket head guards would be suitable for the older ones? Are there any sources which shows which, let's say Wilson series is the newer one of another? I know k-factor comes after n-code and have kind of similar frames, and grommets. I need to order a new one for my k-factor racket, but couldn't find any solutions yet. (I want to order other items, too, from TW, so I need to find an alternative out of the ones that are sold on tw-store).

Manufacturer will not tell you what newer racquets grommets are compatible. They also stop making them after a short while. This is why I tell players once they have a racquet they like, to get a number of grommet sets as they are cheap when available. Most likely tennis meanace would have your grommet set but it will not be cheap.

Sometimes, some grommets are interchangable, so zero chance of finding one that would fit?
You are correct there may be compatible grommet. But it is finding someone who tried newer ones to verify compatible. Hopefully someone here will know.
I have a few players I string for that have grommets from another model, as tie off grommet holes are different, but it works, so hopefully someone can help.lf you do find one, make note of model as that would be the pattern for tie off location.

Alright, thank you for responding. Hope someone knows. :)

No data on that grommet set in my system. Sorry.

There's a number of 100 sq in Wilson racquets with 16 x 19 patterns. Unfortunately, I don't see 6.2's often enough to have attempted a retrofit.
