GUESS THE WHOLE WIMBLEDON DRAW FROM DAY 1!

Hi guys, I came across this fun site earlier this year which should provide some healthy competition to these forums and a nice break from all the trolling. This is tennis draw challenge! All you have to do is fill in the entire draw from day 1 and the person who is the most accurate picker is the winner! What do you get for winning? Well... bragging rights! Anyway, it's a lot easier than it sounds. The only thing you really have to do is make an account on the site tennisdrawchallenge.com
Once you've done that, go to the "Bracket" tab, then "ATP - View," you'll then see Wimbledon 2018, don't click that, click the "Make your picks now" link. Now's the fun part, filling in the entire draw! After you've done that, then comes the waiting game of nervously checking back after the conclusion of every single match.. Make sure to join the public group I created for us so you can see where you stack up against the opposition.
Here's the link for the group: http://www.tennisdrawchallenge.com/group/view/352/talk-tennis-warehouse

Please consider making an effort to join, there's less than 2 days to fill out the entire draw (It only takes 20 minutes max btw)

My antivirus software tells me the website isn’t secure..

I've filled most of mine out. There are a lot of toss ups or uncertainties. Bottom half in particular is hard to call.

When in doubt - bet against the guy with the Spanish or Portuguese name.

Finished filling mine out. Personally had a very hard time between Novak and Kyrgios for the bottom half finalist. I actually have a hard time seeing anyone from the bottom half making the final.

Anyway, does the format of the site change once the tournament starts? I can't see how it would compare us to each other.

I'll save everyone the hassle of filling out a draw.

Fed beats everyone he plays.

Rafa out before 4th round to this year's designated journeymug, probably Kukushkin.

Kyrgios out by 4th round due to brain meltdown.

Cilic wins a bunch of matches which go unnoticed.

Novak who tf knows what he'll do.

Did you fill it out? Otherwise this post is just full of air like the rest of the prediction posts

Once the tournament starts you're able to see what everyone picked in the group and it will have a ranking ladder too with everyone there

Did you choose Marin to win over Roger in the SF?
Unfortunately, yes.

Oh yeah, did you guys know Murray withdrew? If not make sure you adjust for it in the little time left (1 hour) like I had to.

Tee Hee.

I only found out after I did the draw when the wet bulb went off in my head, ‘hang on, WTF happened to Murray?’

Clouded Thoughts
  • Monfils-Gasquet first round makes me feel old.
  • So many Argentinians!
  • Dennis NOVAK always makes me look twice whenever he’s in there.
  • Kazakhstan has a nice looking flag.

Wowza.

Someone has Nadal winning Wimbledon.

Who is drm025?

If Nadal actually wins wimby it means not only has he defended the clay points in 2018 but gained ground in the grass season...which makes him a favourite for USO?

Actually that is a good question - at this moment in the calendar who is the consensus favourite for USO?

Obviously it's early to tell. One has to wait until Rogers Cup at least.
But Fed, Nad and Novak will be the top 3 if I try now. Then there's Delpo and Cilic.
Young guys are not good enough yet.
