Guesses for when 2020 EZONE Price will drop?

I got to playtest the new 2020 EZONE 100 at the USTA National Campus during a tennis trade show a little while back. And boy, that was the best most epic racquet I've ever gotten to hit with by far! Perfectly suited my game. I currently am using a Prokennex Q+5 310 and it just doesn't work well for me anymore.

I wanna switch to the new ezone so bad, but, it's so darn expensive! $230 per frame! As a competitive junior, tournament player I'd have to at least buy 2, preferably 3. But I just can't make that happen because of the price.

Does anybody have an idea based off of previous trends, of when this frame might go on sale? Even just like $20/30 off would be helpful. I doubt it will drop much below $200 though before they are ready to release a new model in probably around 2 years.

Anybody selling these at a discount from current TW price, new or used please reach out.
Also, any current owners with thoughts on the frame tell me about em!

Keep watching the For Sale section here and put up a request in the Wanted section.

You might see a $20 discount in six months? Total guess.

You can also reach out to Yonex directly to ask about sponsorship. You might be surprised. Sure you have to be nationally ranked to get free stuff, but they probably have a junior sponsor deal for like $400 for 2 rackets, bag, grip, string, stencil.

You can also try and find a club who's a Yonex dealer. They'll be able to give a discount if you ask nicely. Maybe $180 or 190 instead of $230.

Good ideas thanks man

I've never tried the DR. Is it really close to the new ezone? I hit a lot too so new racket's for me will become unplayable due to stress cracks after max two years. Any used rackets I've bought, I'll get less than a year of playability before they are through.

Let's put it this way:

My VCORE 98+ was released almost 2 years ago (September 2018). Back then it was $219.

Today, its $229...

$229 (£184 GBP).........they're in markdown for $160 (£128 GBP) in UK. I guess the release of the new version due in Q3 will be pushed back to 2021(?).
Ezone 100 can be had for $212 (£170 GBP)

you can also get the 2018 EZ100s for a better price.

I tried the 18 at the previous year's convention. Hated it. Was stiff in a bad way and I was spraying shots. That's why I was totally blown away when I fell in love with the 2020. It's a completely different ezone. The new 2020 I thought was super solid and dampened, which is what I like. Just plowing through shots, I'm a dampener kind of guy for sure. It had power and accuracy.

98 was good too, but the 100, I felt that I hit the sweet spot everytime.
