I'm still annoyed that loser beat Federer a while back.
Not because Fed lost, but because he doesn't deserve to beat Federer. Not with his personality and his forehand.
I guess I'll have to take solace in the fact that he will always be a damp squib in terms of results.
I mean it. This is a great matchup and energy match. I havent been so excited for a match since Thiem Novak in RG.
About 2h before it starts. Up early birds!!
Gulbis on clay is a sight! Rafa on clay is hand in a glove, while Gulbis on clay is..... like a warzone, but a beautiful war. Lol.
KK is a player I have nothing against too, he is young, strong and Russian!
Well you've gone and dunnit now, @Meles...now GOATbis will never win anything!
Just please don't predict any Fedal success...it's been years since they won anything of note until this year, and I'd like to ride this bandwagon a little longer!

Goatbis new forehand got a little shaky later in the match with Khachanov and let him down in breaker. Khachanov won 4-6, 7-6, 6-3 Ernie subpar on dropshots with Khach devouring most of them. Still some rust in the game.
Ernie got direct entry into Gstaad where he has a nice draw and potential QF clash with wildcard Fognini. Goatbis vs. Goatnini
lol, I'd love for "Goatnini" to show up again. His 5-set wins over Nadal a few years ago where he played breathtakingly clutch, bold tennis were his most entertaining matches. His Davis Cup clay defeat over Murray, too. But most days he plays the goat more than he embodies being a GOAT.
