I am looking for a gym workout for tennis that could increase my speed, power, and endurance. I will problably attend the gym all week long or maybe except Sunday. I am 6' 2" and 270lbs. Any workouts or tips will be accepted :). Thank you !

Well, the squat is the king of weight-lifting exercises, so it is best to start there. But make sure that you do it in a safe way and have someone show you good form (I'm assuming you aren't an experienced lifter).

I'd advise sticking with the basic compound movements: squat, deadlift, bench press, rowing, pull-ups, dips, etc.

You should also clean up your diet and drop some weight for tennis. Djokovic is about your height and almost a 100lbs lighter. That definitely makes it easier to move around the court. Good luck.

Good for you that you are looking to get more fit.

Check out the following site for advise on developing an overall approach to tennis training:
Sports Fitness Advisor Tennis Training Section

Particularly good is the following section:
The Elite Approach to Tennis Strength Training

Take advantage of the stair climbers, ellipticals and exercise bikes that will be easier on your joints until your weight comes down.

Eventually you will want to work on more speed training, but just getting a food aerobic base on the above devices would be a great start.

You probably already know it is much more effective to eat less to lose weight than to try to exercise it off. Just a little straying on junk food, fast food and high calorie drinks can undo your great workout in the gym.

    Hope this helps.

    Good luck!
