H2H/matchups between the new Big 5 (under 30)

Alcaraz/Tpas 6-0
Alcaraz/Zverev 5-5
Alcaraz/Medvedev 4-2
Alcaraz/Sinner 5-4

Sinner/Tpas 3-6
Sinner/Z 1-4
Sinner/Med 5-6

Tpas/Z 10-5
Tpas/Med 4-9

Med/Z 12-7

So as of now,

-Alcaraz has winning records vs all the others

-Sinner has losing records vs all the others

-Zverev has a better record vs the young studs than against the slightly older 'mugs', which isn't explained by recency and is therefore a true matchup issue

-Tpas is Carlos' pigeon

what it tell us?

That Sinner isn't actually on Carlos' level as a player

We think Sinner is going to catch Carlos but he is a year older and Carlos already has a Surface Slam

Everyone's anticipating a Fedal 2.0 but it could end up being more like Feddick 2.0

Also tells us that Zverev should hope to face Sinner or Alcaraz in a Slam F over TPas or Med

Pretty shocking that Sinner has a losing H2H against all of them, the hype train needs to slow down some.

Exactly

He's done very well to reach #1 and defeat Djoko at AO en route to winning a Slam, but Carlos is way ahead and doesn't have a matchup issue against anyone

Could it be that Alcaraz is a better athlete and better tennis player than any of the other 4 including Sinner? Only Sinner and Alcaraz have no real technique weaknesses amongst the 5 and Alcaraz is a better tennis player than Sinner mostly because he is a better athlete - of course he also has more variety.
